What’s SEER?

Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio measures the cooling efficiency of your air conditioner or heat pump. The higher the SEER number, the more efficient the system is at converting electricity into cooling power, which means you’ll save more money.

Depending on your home’s existing system, the answer is as simple as installing an air conditioning unit or a heat pump.

So... what's the difference between Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps?

Central air conditioners deliver cool air through your home's ducts to keep your whole house comfortable.

Heat pumps are central air conditioners that can also heat your home.  Used with a gas furnace, heat pumps add an extra heating option, which allows you to choose to heat with gas or electricity.

Air Conditioners

The best time to install central air conditioning is before you need it.  When the high temperatures arrive, you'll want to be able to enjoy them from the cool comfort inside your home.

Heat Pumps-How do they work?

Heat pumps are part of a split system (like an air conditioning unit), however, they are more efficient.

In the summer, a heat pump draws heat out of your home to cool it. In the winter, it draws heat from outside air into your home to warm it. Heat pumps are becoming more popular because they are reliable and cost efficient.
